It all started with construction paper and excessive amounts of tape as a young kiddo. These days as an adult (sort of! Ha!) I express my creativity through photography. Every day I wake up grateful that my creative side meshes so well with my passion for people and turned into this dream into a career.
Kimberly and Josh’s Towanda, KS Wedding…oh where to start! It was amazing and beautiful! It was everything every little girl dreams of while growing up. April weddings (spring weddings in general) are always beautiful and this wedding was no exception.
Kimberly was surrounded and supported by her bridesmaids the whole afternoon while Josh’s groomsmen kept him laughing all the way up to the moment he first saw his bride walk down the isle.
Kimberly was such a stunning bride and she was brought up to the ceremony site by a horse drawn carriage. I mean come on, how fairytale like is that? Defiantly my kind of bride! I love how God centered Kimberly and Josh’s ceremony was and the letters they wrote to each other and read during the ceremony were so touching. There were many happy tears from their family and friends, smiles and laughs.
I absolutely love when my bride and groom let me steal them away for sunset photos, and let me just say, their sunset photos might be some of my all time favorites! Make sure you scroll all the way to the bottom to see them!
Kimberly and Josh, I have so enjoyed getting to know both of you during this season of your life. I wish you all the happiness in the world….hearts & hugs, Valerie
These doors rented from Endless Treasures are so amazing! Kimberly requested a shot of her dress hanging from them and obviously I agreed and I’m so in love with how it turned out! I Just love Fulton Valley Farms! It’s the perfect place for an outdoor wedding!Boots and dresses! One of my favorite combinations.
How adorable are the little flower girls in their tutus!? Kimberly wrote Josh a sweet letter to reach before the ceremony, so sweet!
Like I said before, Kimberly was a STUNNING bride and just look at the back of her dress!Kimberly and her dad shared a first look! Tears, hugs, smiles and kisses made for such a special moment. Kimberly and her mom are so beautiful! I caught Kimberly’s dad reading the letter she gave him during their first look! These two photos right here is why you should hire a second shooter! I never would have been able to get both Josh and Kimberly’s reacting to seeing each other for the first time without a second shooter. The first kiss was beautiful! But then it got even better………..I mean seriously! How fantastic is this dip! I had to include this shot as this is the largest group photo I think I’ve ever taken! How awesome is it that so much family came out to celebrate with Josh and Kimberly? Love it!A guitar was such a unique way for guest to sign their names! Josh and Kimberly made their own moonshine and called it “SommerShine” after their last name Sommerfeld. How clever is that? They killed it at the end of their first dance with this dip! I love moments like this from the guest dancing! I big shout out to DJ Dee Entertainment for helping me steal the bride and groom away for a few sunset photos. And this is my favorite silhouette shot, EVER! These two could seriously be movie stars!
