It all started with construction paper and excessive amounts of tape as a young kiddo. These days as an adult (sort of! Ha!) I express my creativity through photography. Every day I wake up grateful that my creative side meshes so well with my passion for people and turned into this dream into a career.
Beautiful Farm Wedding
This beautiful farm wedding had so many details, so much history and so much love. Just wait until you see all the photos! Kala and Jace live on the farm that has been in their family for generations! It was so special that they choose to get married here. It will be a beautiful story that is told generations from now and I am honored that they chose me as their photographer for such a special day.
Kala and Jace, thank you for inviting me into your life to document such special moments!
Kala surprised Jace at their first look by wearing a T-Rex costume. Jace later said that as he heard his bride walk up behind him he thought “Wow, that is one annoying dress!” because the T-Rex costume rustled really loudly because of the material!
As soon as Kala surprised Jace she said “get me out of here”. The temperature was in the upper 80s and she was cooking inside the costume!
The girls wanted to try and hold Jace. Let’s just say it didn’t end well but made for some hilarious photos!
Jace and Kala told me about a fun tradition of burying a bottle of bourbon 30 days before your wedding to make sure you will have great weather on your wedding day. The bottle needs to be buried upside down at the location you will be getting married. Kala and Jace dug up their bottle an hour or so before their wedding. What a fun tradition!
I love the next two photos as they were not posed and just show the raw and true joy of two people who have just gotten married!
Right after their beautiful ceremony we grabbed a quick photo of all the guest at their ceremony! Such a fun shot and check out the sun flair!
And of course we had to grab this photo!
So many gorgeous details at their reception site. There was so much thought put into the decorations and it was beautiful!
This bar was made specifically for their wedding and it was awesome!
Possibly the best wedding food ever! They had a taco bar. The guest were obsessed and everything was delicious. Kala and Jace’s family made all of it!
