Great Plains Nature Center Engagement Session
This engagement session was so much fun and so adorable. It might have been chilly outside and a bit of a gloomy day, but you would never know it from these photos as Joscelyn and Austin’s love and affection just radiated. We started their engagement session in downtown Wichita, KS and then moved to a local park for the second half of their session.
These are two of the sweetest humans I know and I could have photographed them for hours. Joscelyn and Austin met at church and quickly became fast friends and then that turned into boyfriend and girlfriend. Move forward in time a few months and Austin was planning out a wonderful day full of surprises for Joscelyn all to create the perfect plan to ask her to marry him. Of course she said yes, because here we are today!
Their summer, outdoor wedding is going to be a blast, I already know it. The love these two have for each other is so real and beautiful. I love how they love and care for each other and how they are focusing on how they want their wedding to be more about Christ and their marriage and their guest and less about just one day. These are my kind of people!
As a wedding photographer, yes, I LOVE weddings, like maybe I love them a little to much. But after the vows have been said, the cake has been cut and the guest have sent you off, what is left? Your marriage! And that is so precious and valuable. Cherish it, build it and enjoy it.
