It all started with construction paper and excessive amounts of tape as a young kiddo. These days as an adult (sort of! Ha!) I express my creativity through photography. Every day I wake up grateful that my creative side meshes so well with my passion for people and turned into this dream into a career.
One of my favorite things is when my couples know exactly where they want to take their engagement photos because they have a place that is special to them. Paige and Matt own land about 45 minutes outside of Wichita, KS and when they asked if we could use it for their engagement session obviously I was all about that! Country engagement sessions might be my favorite. Paige and Matt use their land as a place to get away and escape and just hang out together. I think that sounds perfect! We practically showered in bug spray to make sure we didn’t get attacked by bugs and ticks and then we were off!
I love how Paige and Matt interact with each other. They are playful, fun and sweet and you can really tell they love each other. Just check out their beautiful photos! You two are perfect together and I cannot wait to shoot your wedding in October, it is going to be beautiful!
Paige and Matt, thank you so choosing me to document this wonderful time in your life. I am so honored and I just love working withย you two so much! Enjoy all of the wedding planning! Hearts and hugs…Valerie

Great Bokeh. Is that Canon 85mm?
This session was shot with the Canon 50mm 1.2 and Cannon 135mm 2.0. I do love the Canon 85mm 1.2 but I haven’t bought it yet!
