Places to Take Senior Photos in Wichita Kansas

Your senior session is a once in a lifetime event. You want your photos to reflect you while being unique and beautiful. People ask me all the time how I find the locations that I do and the truth is that I spend many hours each month looking for unique and beautiful locations that you will fall in love with and will make your senior photos stand out. Today I am here to share some of my favorite locations for senior photos in Wichita, KS with you. Perhaps you will want to use some of these locations in your senior photos.

Now, let’s get to three of my favorite places to take senior photos in Wichita Kansas.

1. Bradley Fair – 2000 N Rock Rd #160, Wichita, KS 67206

If you love store fronts and an upscale feel, this is the place for you. There is also a lake/pond with an island, a beautiful fountain and gorgeous landscaping. I love to use the store fronts for totally different looks. I used the Victoria Secret store front in the photos below because it has these adorable pink and white polka dot windows with glowing lights. I had never seen anyone use this location and absolutely loved the unique and cute look it gave Adia’s images. It matched perfectly with her outfit. Go check out this whole area and find a store front that speaks to you!

2. Union Station – 701 E Douglas Ave, Wichita, KS 67202

This is a favorite spot for so many seniors It looks really upscale and has so many textures. The stone walls and the iron parts of the building are all so neat. It is fantastic spot that many of my senior clients love to use for prom dresses, lace rompers and fancy dresses. The light that floods this area is absolutely gorgeous. Do you want to know one of the best parts? 8 DegressBelow, who makes and sells rolled ice cream, is about ten steps away from this location. If you get a little hungry for something sweet during your senior session they can help you out.

3. Pawnee Prairie Park – Inbetween Maize and Tyler off of Kellogg in Wichita, KS

This is a huge park with so many different backgrounds to use for your senior photos. From trees, to fields, to bridges, to water, it really has it all if you are a nature loving babe. I love to head to the east side of the park right as the sun is setting. The light that falls on the field is absolutely gorgeous as you can see in the photos below. Many times when I am at the park at sunset there will be 4 or 5 other photographers as well.It’s such a beautiful spot. Wear  your favorite flowy, floral dress, add a cute hate and you will look amazing for your senior photos. You might even get lucky and see a few deer crossing the fields!
