Senior Pool-less Pool Party
July in the Midwest is hot! Not only does the temperature creep over 100 degrees, but the humidity here in Kansas is out of control. I think we all can agree that one of the best ways to beat the heat is to head to the pool. The only problem? Not everyone has a pool! The solution: kiddie pools, beach balls, pool noodles, water balloons and a few colorful umbrellas! It was so much fun to get creative with this senior, pool-less pool party session. I loved running around town and finding fun inflatables and then laying them out on the lawn in a fun design.
In Kansas we are pretty much guaranteed to always have wind, but some days are worse than others! On the day of our pool-less pool party, the wind was particularly bad. In order to get the awesome drone photos (Thanks to Mickey Shannon Photography) which you will see below, my dad, mom and I were all running around trying to keep all of the inflatable items in their place long enough to grab a few photos! We should have taken photos of us running around as I know we looked ridiculous!
The theme for our little summer party was “Party like a Pineapple.” Now, I do not even really know what that means, but I think it’s super cute, and I love pineapples. My seniors enjoyed pizza and pineapple punch, and I gifted them adorable Val’s Gals shirts! More on what that means below.
This is the first blog I have posted since I launched my new website! Along with my website launch I have also rebranded, and I am in love with my new look and feel of my logo and my whole website. With my rebrand I am launching Val’s Gals. Val’s Gals is the proud label you get to wear when you are one of my seniors! Because of this my seniors wore these adorable shirts with my new Val’s Gals logo. Could my seniors get any cuter? A huge shout out to Wichita Screen Printing. They did an amazing job of my custom shirts!
