It all started with construction paper and excessive amounts of tape as a young kiddo. These days as an adult (sort of! Ha!) I express my creativity through photography. Every day I wake up grateful that my creative side meshes so well with my passion for people and turned into this dream into a career.
You are engaged and ready to start on all of the wedding planning. Way to go! Have you recently scheduled your engagement session and now you have no idea what to wear. Your room was so clean this morning but now it looks like a tornado went through and you still haven’t decided what to wear.
The struggle is so real.
Here are a few tips to help you sort through the struggles of picking out an outfit or two.
For both gals and guys, think simple lines that will always be classic. And you can’t go wrong with solid colors!

Your outfits do not need to be matchy-matchy, but they should compliment each other. Just make sure things are not obviously clashing, but mixing patterns and colors within the same color family will add great interest to your photos.

Do not go into panic mode if it is cooler outside than you would like. Throw on a cute sweater and scarf and you will look awesome and be warm!

Remember the little details too. They can add a lot to the overall look of your outfit and feel of your engagement session. You can’t go wrong with a headband and a cute wedge.

Girls, one way to feel extra flirty and pretty during you sessions to wear a dress or skirt with some flare. You’ll have fun twirling and this will make for some gorgeous photos.

If it is really cold outside bring your cute, tailored coats along. Bonus if you have them in beautiful colors like the ones below.

Don’t be afraid of stripes! These muted blue and neutral tones are lovely and add a lot of interest to your her outfit.

I hope this gives you a few ideas for your engagement session. If you would like to schedule a session, please contact me here and I’d love to chat with you!
