The Wichita Boathouse was the perfect venue for Kristy and Chris’s wedding. June is such a popular and beautiful month for weddings here in Kansas, but this day was a bit on the warm side. I think I heard that it was supposed to feel like 110 degrees and we were in a heat advisory. You would never know it was so hot by looking at this beautiful bride and groom though! They were so joyful and in love, nothing could stop them from having a magical wedding day and it was just that — magical!
During the wedding ceremony a few cars drove by the ceremony site and honked for the happy couple which was so fun! Kristy and Chris’s reception was packed with so much love from their family and friends! The first dance was so beautiful and there were so many happy tears during the father/daughter dance!

I can’t decide if I like the detail shots that make me want to explore and travel. Or the photos of the showing the brides wedding dress. The Wichita boathouse is a gorgeous location.
