It all started with construction paper and excessive amounts of tape as a young kiddo. These days as an adult (sort of! Ha!) I express my creativity through photography. Every day I wake up grateful that my creative side meshes so well with my passion for people and turned into this dream into a career.
Crown Uptown Wichita Wedding
The day started off windy and chilly, but love was in the air, and it was warm and inviting. Angie and Robert picked Crown Uptown Theatre as the backdrop for their beautiful wedding. It was such an amazing, unique, location.
Angie started off her day surrounded by her bridesmaids, mom, soon to be mother-in-law and grandmother. There was lots of laughter, mimosas, and music. Excitement was in the air and it was contagious!
Robert and his groomsmen suited up behind the stage. Robert adjusted his tie as his groomsmen threw jokes back and forth which created a relaxed and fun atmosphere.
Angie and Robert were so sweet during their first look. Hugs, kisses, more hugs. It was just perfect. Otis (Angie and Robert’s little boy) was by far the best dressed and most adorable one of the bridal party. It was cold and extremely windy, but Angie and Robert braved the cold to capture romantic portraits together. I am so glad they did because they will cherish those photos for the rest of their life.
Angie’s grandpa boasted to me earlier in the day how excited and happy he was to have the honor of walking Angie down the isle. His face glowed with pride as he walked his granddaughter down to her groom who was smiling from ear to ear at the sight of his beautiful bride.
The I do’s were said, their kiss was exchanged and it was time to enjoy dinner from Hog Wild Pit Bar-B-Q. DJ Daniel Bugner kept the party going from the first dance to the last and the guest all enjoyed the s’mores bar by The Table Guys.
Angie and Robert. It has been such a pleasure to be part of your life for this wonderful season. I hope your first Christmas as a married couple was wonderful. I’ve so enjoyed watching Otis grow and I’m excited for your future. Hearts and hugs, Valerie
