It all started with construction paper and excessive amounts of tape as a young kiddo. These days as an adult (sort of! Ha!) I express my creativity through photography. Every day I wake up grateful that my creative side meshes so well with my passion for people and turned into this dream into a career.
Even though it doesn’t feel like fall right now in Kansas, it will be here before we know it. With its wonderful crisp air, and beautiful colored leave…I can’t wait! Fall is hands down my favorite season. I wish it was always fall, but then maybe I would take it for granted? Anyways! With fall just around the corner, I’m scheduling fall mini sessions.
The sessions will all take place on Sunday, October 25, 2015. Time slots will run from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm with each slot lasting 10-15 minutes. The cost will be $45. You will receive your images through a downloadable gallery and you will receive printing rights to your photos.
Here are my top ten reason you should schedule a fall mini session today:
Hopefully one of those 10 reasons convinced you that you need to email me at valerie@valerieshannonphotogrpahy.com to book your time slot or you can use this contact form to send me a note.
I hope to chat with many of you soon, until then I’m off to dream of pumpkin spice lattes and leather boots!

Yay for Fall!! Fall minis are so much fun. Perfect time of the year for family pictures
I agree Kate!
Valerie is the best photographer for your fall sessions, her images look stunning. Too bad I’m not from Kansas 🙂
Aw thanks Elisa!
I love fall too! It is without a doubt my favorite season: the cool air, scarves, and colorful leaves. I can’t wait! I am amazed at how often I hear reason #5. I think it’s sad when wedding photos are the last time that you’ve been photographed together. Time passes by so quickly! I love that photos allow us to save thee moments that are important to us and remember the time we spent with the people we love.
Yes I agree! I’ve never heard anyone look back and say “I have too many photos” it’s always “I wish I would have taken more” and that is so sad to hear 🙁
So thankful that I live in a part of the world that gets to enjoy the changing leaves! Great time for family pictures!
Isn’t it crazy that we are already talking about fall sessions!?!?! Good luck with yours! Can’t wait to see them =]
