It all started with construction paper and excessive amounts of tape as a young kiddo. These days as an adult (sort of! Ha!) I express my creativity through photography. Every day I wake up grateful that my creative side meshes so well with my passion for people and turned into this dream into a career.
September is such a beautiful month for weddings, and Chelsea and Mitch’s wedding was no exception. Rushville, IL is an adorable town with such charm. Chelsea and Mitch were married in the church Chelsea had attended most of her life, Rushville Free Methodist Church.
Chelsea was excited and composed while she was prepped and pampered for her big day surrounded by her sisters and friends. Mitch was a bit nervous as he eagerly anticipated seeing his bride for the first time. I love that Chelsea and Mitch choose to have a first look. It is such a special moment and really makes for such sweet moments.
The ceremony went beautifully and just down the hall Chelsea and Mitch held their reception where they celebrated with their close friends and families, eating cake and playing games (some of them were jumbo games, so cool!).
Chelsea and Mitch, thank you so much for letting me be a part of your wedding day. I was so thrilled to be so involved in you day! I can’t wait to see what the future holds for both of you! Hearts & Hugs…Valerie
The girls had a great time being pampered by the gals at Susan’s Ultimate Salon, and it was a lovely, relaxed morning.
Donuts and coffee were, and always are, a must!
Such a fun bridal party. They made the whole day a blast.
The guys sure cleaned up nice, you’d never know how ornery they are all from this photo 🙂
I was so excited Chelsea and Mitch decided to have a first look. It is always such a special moment.
Mitch got a bit teary eyed, and it was so endearing.
Chelsea and Mitch exchanged cards right after their first look. It was such a beautiful, thoughtful gift.
Daddy daughter moments are the best!
The happy couple, a barefoot bride and a groom ready to celebrate!
I love this shot of the bridal party peeping around the corner to get a look at the cake cutting.
Heartfelt toast always bring out the best laughter.
Three generations! Mom, Chelsea, and Grandma.
Chelsea and Mitch had so many games for guest to choose from to play while enjoying the reception.
Some of the favorites were the jumbo games! Do you know what the game below with the balls and sticks is called?
Cameron is Chelsea’s sister and they had a photo taken just like this at Cameron and Kayla’s wedding so of course we had to recreate it.
Saying goodbye is hard. Amanda came all the way from Egypt to help celebrate with Chelsea and Mitch.
This shot was specifically requested by the groom. He says he now has a wife and a baby. The “baby” being his car 😉
