For Karissa and Aaron’s session we picked an urban location that is full of old brick, brightly painted doors and a wall with a fun, bright mural. I had been to this location before, but it was fun to see Karissa and Aaron’s reaction to the unique dowtown Wichita location. It was the perfect setting for their engagement photos.

Even more refreshing than the cool breeze on our faces as the sun set, was the love that radiated from Karissa and Aaron. These two love birds have known each other and been friends for many years. They have attended the same church as they grew up have many of the same friends.

Aaron admitted that he has been chasing after the girl of his dreams for over six years before she finally said yes to start dating him. This just goes to show that persistence pays off. Karissa says she remembered missing Aaron while he was away in Germany. She had thoughts like, “Aaron is such a nice guy, and I think I kind of miss him.” Shortly after Aaron returned to Wichita the two attended a festival together as “just friends” (in Karissa’s opinion). By the time they left the festival, their lives together, forever, had started.

Karissa and Aaron, thank you so much for letting me document your love. You both will have a shining future together and I know your love will continue to flourish. I can’t wait to see you both get married in December! Wishing you all the best, hearts & hugs…Valerie
